When Is Going to the Dentist Fun? Every Time You Walk Through the Doors at Martin Kids Dental!
At our dental office for children, we believe strongly in the importance of the office tour for our young patients. While dental technologies, tools, and even the dentist’s chair may feel natural to you as an adult, these are all brand new experiences for your child. Our Martin Kids Dental team wants your child to feel safe in our office, and we are happy to take the extra steps to ensure an enjoyable visit.
Our office tour lets your child look at and touch our equipment on their own terms and at their own pace. For some children, a brief tour is all they need before they agree to let us examine and treat them. For others, it takes longer, and that is fine, too!
If needed, we can schedule your child’s tour to be on a different day as their exam, so they can explore our office with no pressure whatsoever. If your child has autism or struggles with anxiety during new experiences, you are welcome to schedule more than one acclimation visit. Whatever your child’s needs may be, our team is here to make sure they are comfortable.
